Sleleni Ariador Empress of Khande

What is known about Seleni is a short list, she is young, beautiful, talented, polite, lives with a sword at her side, and while new to her throne she appears to almost be ruling her country by force of personality alone. The only thing that can be said about her history is that if she is to be believed she is the last heir of house Ariador, a house long thought to be extinct.

What isn't known is almost more interesting. Where she was before appearing in Khande. Who raised her and taught her to rule along with any other skills she might possess. Finally the details of how she came to power have been thoroughly obscured by the sea of blood that came with it.

Halloran Kaspar

A few years older than his Empress he is the house Kaspar's oldest son and a consummate ladies man. As house Kaspar was a minor house in the civil war before the arrival of Seleni, Halloran had no real responsibilities. He flirted his way through life always moving on to the next girl before things got too serious. Now he seems to have devoted himself to flirting his way up the ranks of Seleni's court. The Empress for her part has put him to work and has discovered a rather sharp mind under all the easy smiles, in spite of, it sometimes seems, Seleni's best efforts.

Aliyah Kaspar

The younger of the two Kaspar children, Aliyah is a kind, social, and highly intelligent girl and has attached herself to the Empress than her brother and has blossomed in the new and chaotic environment of budding court politics taking to them like a duck to water. She has found her self a home as Seleni's companion and social adviser. What else she might be is unknown but she does spend a great deal of time whispering in the Empress' ear.
